While most CPAP masks come standard with a silicone mask cushion, the AirTouch F20 Full Face Mask (which covers the nose and mouth) from ResMed comes with a cushion made of memory foam. This is ideal for users who do not tolerate silicone well or have sensitive skin in general. In addition, the memory foam pillow is softer and lighter than a silicone pillow and is better able to adapt to the contours of the face. Due to the smart design of the AirTouch F20 full face mask, a forehead support is not required to keep the mask properly in place. This provides a completely unobstructed view, a solution for users who wear glasses and/or like to read a book or watch TV from bed! The mask frame is also provided with extra padding for even more comfort. Thanks to the magnetic mounting clips, putting on and taking off this mask is a piece of cake. It is also good to note that this mask uses the same frame as the ResMed AirFit F20 mask. Elbow connection with quick coupling and QuietAir ventilation
To remove excess air flows in a quiet (max 21 decibels) and efficient manner, the ResMed AirTouch F20 Full Face Mask is equipped with an elbow connector with QuietAir air holes. In addition, this elbow joint can be rotated 360 degrees, which provides more freedom of movement in bed. Waking up in the night due to pulling on the mask is a thing of the past! In addition, this connection is equipped with a quick-release fastener that allows it to be disconnected and connected to the regular CPAP hose extremely quickly and easily. Some directions for using this mask
Because a CPAP mask comes into contact with the nose and/or mouth during use, it qualifies as a "hygiene product" that cannot be returned once it has already been received. The manufacturer recommends that you wipe the memory foam mask cushion lightly with a CPAP mask cloth at least every other day. Because of the memory foam, it is also recommended to use the AirTouch F20 mask cushion to be replaced monthly. There are magnets in the headband and frame. Never allow them to come within 5 cm of medical implants (such as a pacemaker). Consult the instructions for use.
