Practical waterless humidification, perfect for on the go
Thanks to the integrated condenser humidifier with the BMC Heat Moisture Exchange technology, the N5AH nasal mask makes it possible to add humidification to sleep therapy without active humidification with a humidification chamber. The ideal solution for travelling! Because the ventilation holes of this mask are placed behind this humidifier, no humidification is lost and it always remains fully effective. This means that a chapped nose and/or mouth, even during CPAP therapy in a hotel, at a campsite or even on an airplane, is a thing of the past!
Enjoy a more pleasant therapy through a clear field of view
Due to the smart design of the BMC N5AH Nasal Mask, without forehead support as is common with many other nasal masks, the field of view remains completely unobstructed. This makes it easy to, for example, read a book or watch TV while the mask is already worn. This lack of a forehead support is extra pleasant for users who also wear glasses. The headband is made of a soft material and is easy to loosen and fasten using the handy clips on the sides. Adjusting the mask is also child's play using the same clips so that it always fits properly and comfortably. This mask can be connected to any standard CPAP hose and the handy connection with swivel design ensures that it can rotate 360 degrees for extra freedom of movement throughout the night.
With silicone nose pad and ResMed AirMini adapter
The nose cushion of the BMC N5AH mask is made of silicone, so it covers the nose well and comfortably for effective therapy. In addition, the silicone edge ensures an extremely comfortable fit. Because you can choose between an S, M or L size for the nose pillow, this nose mask is suitable for every user. This mask is supplied as standard with 3 waterless humidifiers, namely 2 HU capsules and 1 HU-Plus capsule, as well as 3 filters. In addition, a ResMed AirMini adapter is also included as standard so that the BMC N5AH mask can also be used in combination with this CPAP travel device.
Some directions for using this mask
Because a CPAP mask comes into contact with the nose and/or mouth during use, it qualifies as a "hygiene product" that cannot be returned once it has already been received. Regarding the condenser humidifier, the manufacturer recommends the HU capsules as standard for all standard conditions. The HU-Plus capsule is recommended for drier and/or higher destinations (such as in the mountains or on an airplane). If in doubt, choose a HU-Plus capsule, which is suitable for almost any environment. In addition, the manufacturer recommends replacing both the humidifier and the filter after 30 calendar days, regardless of whether they have been used for 30 nights.
